Events at Hope, and Lutheran Campus Ministry events that often involve Hope members and friends, are listed here by month. Other events that may interest Hope members and friends are included in the list. Unless noted, all events are at Hope.
Weekly events at Hope include:
- Schola Cantorum Choir of Hope Rehearsals, Wednesdays, 7:30 pm (resumes on September 3)
- CARing Kids/CARing Project, Fridays, 2-5 pm (resumes on September 12; concludes on December 5). No CARing Project on September 26, October 17, or October 31.

Sunday, September 7 - Sunday School Rally Day and Picnic/Terrapin Brunch. Join us at 9 am for a multi-generational Rally Day event -- "We Are the Church" -- to kick off the new Sunday School year. The picnic takes place immediately after worship; please bring a side dish or dessert to share. The
Terrapin Brunch provides an opportunity for all college and university
students, and all individuals associated with a college or university,
to enjoy a good meal and conversation together.
Monday, September 8 - Brown Bag Prayer Lunch, 12 pm. Bring your lunch; we provide a beverage and dessert.
Sunday, September 14 - Sunday School Classes Resume - adult class and elementary class, 9 am

Saturday, October 4 - Thrivent for Lutherans Annual Help the Homeless Benefit Concert Featuring "Lost and Found," F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre, Rockville Civic Center Mansion Park, Rockville, 6 pm (approximately). Tickets are $20 (call 240-314-8690 to reach the box office and for directions). Sunday, October 26 - Junior Terrapin Brunch, after worship. The Junior Terrapin Brunch is for children and their
parents, as well as all others interested in our children's ministry.
We share a simple meal and talk about what's on our minds. You can wear your Halloween costume to this brunch!
